What a day today! God blessed us here in Okinawa with a beautiful sunny day. As I sit here thinking about what to write, listening to O Praise Him by David Crowder Band on my Ipod, just soaking up the lyrics. In fact I had to stop and just worship God. I can't even describe the feeling inside me right now, I'm going to take a moment and spend sometime with God and finish this blog later.
It is crazy that God is so patient with us. I'm doing Living Beyond Yourself study by Beth Moore with the women at my church. God waited 120 years for Noah to preach and finish the ark before sending the flood to wipe out all of mankind (Genesis 6 and 2 Peter 2:5). 120 years of patience, wanting more to convert, but none did and God already knew that would happen, how patient our God is! I'm sorry 120 years blows my mind when some days I have patience of maybe 10 minutes with people around me. This is so showing me the Amazingness of God. Wow, all I can ask is God make me more like you. This will be my prayer for the day, God give me patience like You, that I may have the patience to wait 120 years. Amen

Intro
So much has been going on in my life and I want to keep everyone updated. First off for those who don't know I'm in Japan now and really plugged into a church, The Harbor. I started volunteering with High Schoolers who just rock and have good people surrounding me.
Now for the real reason of this blog besides updating friends and family back in the states. I'm going to be praying for the next 5 years to see where God wants me. Lately I have been feeling pulled to go into ministry and not only that but backpack around Europe, visit churches soak of God and spreading the word as I travel. I don't know the when's, who's, and why's I'm totally leaving this one up to God and trusting Him alone in this decision. You might ask why 5 years? Well that is the time left on my military contract that I need to finish serving.
I am now going to start blogging what God is teaching me and showing me during the next 5 years. Also telling everyone what is going on in my life. The past 2 weekends have been insane. High School retreat and the a Woman's Retreat back to back weekends. I can't wait to tell everyone how God work during these times. I look forward to sharing with everyone. Until next time.
